Adding Concierge Services Information

The Concierge Services option allows users to provide recommendations for churches, restaurants, theatres, shopping malls, and other nearby facilities that can be of interest to the visiting guests at the property.

Perform the following steps to add a concierge service:

Navigate to Front Desk à Guest Services à Concierge Services.

Select the preferred concierge category and subcategory from the Category and Subcategory drop-down lists. The list of concierge categories and subcategories created in the Concierge Categories and Concierge SubCategories options under the Front Office menu are displayed as options in these drop-down lists.

Assume the user selects Restaurants as the category and Indian as the subcategory. All Indian restaurants that are available in the property neighborhood are displayed in the grid.

Click Add Concierge Services. The Add Concierge Services screen appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field	Description
Description	A description of the concierge service provided, that is, a description of a nearby attraction or an activity. Up to 250 alphanumeric, special characters, and numbers are supported.
Address	The address where the recommended activity or place is located. Up to 250 alphanumeric characters, special characters, and numbers are supported.
Telephone	The contact number that can be used to enquire about the activity or the place of interest. Up to 20 numbers are supported.
Directions	The directions to reach to the destination of interest. Up to 250 alphanumeric characters, special characters, and numbers are supported.
Distance From Property	The total distance from the property to the destination of interest. Values up to 4 digits are supported.
Comment	The comments on the activity or area of interest, if any. Up to 250 alphanumeric characters, special characters, and numbers are supported.
Build Map Link	Select the option to set the map between the origin and destination location.
Starting Location	The property’s address.
Ending Location	The destination address.

The user can enter the origin and destination addresses and create a map only when the Build Map link option is selected. After providing the required address details, the user can click Build Link to create a map between locations.

Click Save.

Users can also perform the following actions in the Concierge Services tab:

• Search for a concierge service record using the description.

• Modify a concierge service record by selecting a record in the grid and clicking Edit.

• Print the concierge service details using the Print icon.

• Delete a concierge service record using the Delete icon.
